Sylvia Verley WHITE SALMON---Sylvia Verley, 93, died Thursday in Hood River Care Center. She was born November 13, 1892 Manns Creek near Weiser, Idaho. She married HolleyVerley November 21, 1912 and the couple came to Tieton in 1924. She has been a resident of Tieton for 61 years. She attended Tieton Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Rebekkah Lodge in Tieton. She is survived by a daughter, LaVerne McBain of Richland and a son, Jewell Ray Verley of White Salmon; one sister, Violette Hovey of Weiser; seven granchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, LaMetta Verley. Graveside services will be conducted at 1PM Tuesday in Tahoma Cemetery.
